History and Background

• Founding: The university started as a language center within the Ministry of Education. Its primary function was to educate Pakistani students in foreign languages. It eventually grew into a full-fledged university, offering academic programs in different fields.
• Rawalpindi Campus Establishment: The Rawalpindi campus of NUML was set up as part of the expansion of the university to provide education to students from Rawalpindi and its surrounding areas.
• Academic Programs: Gradually, the Rawalpindi campus started providing undergraduate, graduate, and diploma studies in languages, business, computer science, and other disciplines.
