Historical Background

The University of Sargodha (UoS) boasts a rich and long academic heritage. Founded in 1929 as De’Montmorency College, the university came to be called Government College afterwards. In 2002, it was established as a full-fledged university and has since grown to become a premier center for higher studies and research in Punjab, Pakistan.
