Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad (SBBU SBA) is a prominent public-sector university situated in Nawabshah, Sindh, Pakistan. Established in 2012 and named in honor of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, the university is recognized for its commitment to quality education and socio-economic development in the region.
History and Establishment
- Legislative Foundation: SBBU SBA was founded through Sindh Act No. XIX of 2010, passed by the Sindh Assembly.
- Higher Education Commission (HEC) Funded: The university operates with support from HEC Pakistan.
- Core Mission: To provide affordable and quality education to the people of Sindh and Pakistan and to develop a skilled workforce for national progress.
