History:

• Establishment: BUET Khuzdar was founded in 2002 by the Government of Balochistan with the purpose of offering higher education in engineering and technology to the youth of Balochistan, which has traditionally been lacking in quality institutions of education.
• Mission: The university was founded to generate capable professionals, mostly engineers, who could help build the region as well as the country as a whole.
• Growth: Since its establishment, BUET has expanded academically and in terms of infrastructure. It has emerged as one of the priority institutions for students not only from Balochistan but also from other regions, offering them a chance in engineering disciplines.

Academic Programs:

• Bachelor’s Degrees: Civil Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Computer Science; Software Engineering.
• Master’s Degrees: Advanced fields of engineering and technology—including M.Sc. Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. Civil Engineering, and M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering.
