Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) is a world-class public university situated in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan. Founded in 1975 as the University of Multan, it was renamed in 1979 to pay tribute to the illustrious Sufi saint, Hazrat Baha-ud-din Zakariya. It is the second-largest university in Punjab after the University of the Punjab.
