History & Evolution Early Roots: The Ziauddin Group started with a small maternity home in Nazimabad, set up by Dr. Aijaz Fatima and Dr. Tajammul Hussain—daughter and son‑in‑law of Sir Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad—planning to disseminate quality healthcare and education. University Charter: Initially providing nursing programs since 1986, the institution diversified into various health‑related fields. On 13 December 2005, it was granted its charter under “The Ziauddin University (Amendment) Act 2003,” and it became Ziauddin University officially.
