Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science, and Technology (QUEST) was initially established in 1974 as a campus of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology to meet the growing demand for engineering education in Sindh. University Status: In 1996, the campus gained autonomy and was upgraded to a full-fledged university, named in honor of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, affectionately called Quaid-e-Awam (Leader of the People). Location QUEST is located on Sakrand Road in Nawabshah, Sindh (now Shaheed Benazirabad district), making it easily accessible to students from all over Sindh and other parts of Pakistan.
