History & Establishment

DHA Suffa University (DSU) was officially chartered by the Government of Sindh in 2002, with academic operations commencing in 2012 at a purpose-built campus in DHA Phase VII Extension, Karachi. The university’s name pays homage to the historic “Suffah” of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah—an ancient platform of learning and wisdom—symbolizing DSU’s unwavering commitment to intellectual exploration and value-based education.
