Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) is a public university in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan, founded in 1897 as a primary school. It became a high school in 1905, an intermediate college in 1924, and was granted degree-awarding status in 1933. Postgraduate studies began in 1963, and the university was awarded university status in 2002. The principal campus covers 37 acres, with a new campus being developed on 200 acres along Jhang Road.
