About Koç University Scholarship
Established in 1993, Koç University is one of Istanbul’s premier private universities in Turkey. It is known internationally for its academic and research excellence and is ranked among the top 3 universities in Turkey (Times Higher Education 2021). It provides English-language programs and has a cosmopolitan international student population.

Scholarship Benefits
For Master’s Students:
- Waiver of tuition fees (valued at 96,500 TL/year)
- Monthly stipend: 1,500 TL
- Housing allowance or free shared accommodation
- Private health insurance
- Travel allowance for academic events
For PhD Students:
- Waiver of tuition fees
- Monthly stipend: 3,000 TL (3,500 TL upon passing the PhD qualifier)
- Free housing or housing allowance
- Private health insurance + meal card
- Free HGS car pass on campus
- Conference travel support
Eligibility Criteria
- Language: English (TOEFL IBT 80+). IELTS is not valid.
- Eligible Countries: All international students
- Academic Excellence: GRE or GMAT required for most programs
- No standalone application: Just apply for the program

- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- CV/Resume
- Academic transcripts and diplomas
- TOEFL (IBT) scores
- GRE/GMAT scores
- Contact information of 2–3 referees
- Other documents as per program requirements
