Northern University

Northern University, established in 2002, is a non-profit private sector university located in Nowshera District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Sponsored by the EDR Trust, this institution is dedicated to offering quality higher education through a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.

History and Establishment

Northern University held its inaugural ceremony under the patronage of General (R) Sawar Khan, the former President of the university. The main campus is situated at Wattar Walai Ziarat, Kaka Sahib Road, Nowshera. In April 2005, the foundation stone of the university’s main block was laid by Mr. Khalil Ur Rehman, then Governor of NWFP (now KP).
